Packing My Bags for TechEd North America

I'm packing my bags and getting ready to fly to TechEd North America 2010. This year it's in New Orleans: 7th to 10th June. It's not my first time to visit New Orleans. I was there in February 2000 for the Microsoft Technical Trainer's Conference and then again in October 2003 for the Microsoft World Wide Partner Conference. But it has been a while, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Over the years I've helped out at many TechEd conferences - Hands On Labs (HOLs), Technical Learning Centers (TLCs) and Ask the Experts (ATEs) - this year I'm presenting the Certification Prep Session for IT Pros on SharePoint Server 2010: Exams 70-667 and 70-668 on Wednesday, 9th June, 1:30 - 2:45 pm, and acting as a MCT Ambassador on the Certification Preparation and Information Desk (Room 255).

It's not too late to register and if you get to New Orleans on Sunday 6th June, and haven't registered for any of the Pre-Conference Seminars, then the Certification area is open from noon to 6pm, where you can take exams. Also, if you Pre-register to take a certification exam at Tech·Ed before June 6, then there are discounted rates.

Also, on the Sunday, there are two Microsoft Certification 101 sessions, where you can learn about selecting a certification path, preparing for your exams, and all the benefits of becoming an MCP; and two TechEd 101 sessions, where you can learn how to take advantage of everything that is going on during the 5-days.
